Monet and the Impressionists

I needed to be in Sydney today for a morning workshop, so I decided to fly up early yesterday to visit a special exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales: Monet and the Impressionists

A few of my favourites follow:

Claude Monet, Camille Monet and a child in the artist's garden at Argenteuil (1875)

Claude Monet, Grainstack/Haystack at sunset (1891)

Claude Monet, Meadows at Giverny (1886)

Claude Monet, Waterlillies (1905)

Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Woman with a parasol and small child on a sunlit hillside (1874-76)

Alfred Sisley, La Croix-Blanche at Saint-Mammes (1874)
