Placing stones around the edges (more to come) and securing them with mortar


More water will be added once the mortar dries... and then plants will be placed around the edge to help disguise the black rubber pond liner.

In case you've never tried it, mortaring is really, really good fun. Go find something in your garden that needs a little concrete!
