I caught a flight from HKG to BKK operated by one of TG's 777-200s. The 777 is a great plane and I was seated in the first row of economy so had a bit of space... but that's not important right now.
What's interesting is something about the meal. Do you spot it? Do you? Do you see it? Do you? Do you?

OK, now do you see it? Yeah, right... THE KNIFE!
It's a metal knife! None of the plastic rubbish you mostly encounter. I guess there's increased risk the TG T7 could have landed in BKK with the seats and floor and walls nicely spread with butter and jam... but strangely this didn't occur. As far as I could gather from covert observation of other pax, everyone used their metal knife for the purposes of eating their breakfast!
Maybe it's time to allow proper cutlery back onto all flights?
