Lebua at State Tower, Bangkok

Conveniently located at the end of Silom Road, Lebua at State Tower is a great all-suite hotel. The rooms are very spacious with sitting/lounge area, kitchenette (not that you'd bother cooking while in Bangkok), huge bathroom (Bvlgari amenities) and big bedroom. You can ask for the balcony doors to be opened (you'll need to sign a waiver first) if you want the smells and sounds of Bangkok floating in.

Looking up from the pool area (level 11, I think). You can see the little balconies attached to each room.

Good views of the city and the Chao Praya River (if you get a riverview room).

Zip up to the 63rd floor - open air dining and a magnificent bar perched way above the hussle and bustle of this wonderful Oriental city.
