The lounge is on the mezzanine level overlooking one of the gate piers. The open-air (to the terminal, not to outside) nature is quite pleasant giving a feeling of space.

First class is to the right, while business class is to the left. The main food station, however, is located in the business class section. First class drinks offering is the same so, IMHO, you're better off locating yourself in the main, business class side of the lounge.
The food selection was excellent! Nice salad bar (with an annoying idiot who could not wait 2 seconds for me to take my photo) with a good selection of hot dishes - when I passed through: fried rice, pork buns, steamed dim sum, tasty chicken legs, an egg & potato dish and soup. Ample drinks as well - JW Black (and no JW Blue on the first class side). Nice cakes and biscuits also... with ice-cream (vanilla or chocolate) to boot!

While the Thai girls offering massages in Royal Silk Spa make passing through BKK a dream, the Royal Silk Lounge at HKG offered three massage chairs. I have to say the one I tried was PAINFUL until I adjusted the settings from "East German-thereapeutic" to "Thai-relaxation". OK, the setting wasn't "East German-therapeutic" but holy-cow that chair got stuck into my back! And the setting wasn't "Thai-relaxation", it was more like "vibration" and "kneading & tapping". About fifty buttons to press on the remote, so experiment a bit to find your preferred settings.

And if you've got even more time to kill in the lounge, try out the game consoles for fun!
