Boxing Day dinner

My guests from Christmas Eve invited me to a Boxing Day feast, prepared in a small flat with an even smaller kitchen at Janet Clarke Hall.

The food was DELICIOUS!

凉菜 entrees
皮辣红 Chinese salad mix of onions, green chilli and tomatoes
凉拌土豆丝 cold potato strings dressed with green chilli, dried red chilli and Chinese peppers
拌香菜 coriander mix with green chilli and madacamia (usually made with peanuts)
番茄虾球 prawn balls dressed with tomatoes

二道,主菜 second course, main
红烧加鲫鱼 snapper cooked in soy sauce
鱼头豆腐汤 Tofu in Gurnard fishbone soup

三道,炒菜 third course, stirfries
蒜香芥蓝 Gai Choy stirfried with garlic
韭菜墨鱼丝 calamari strings stirfried with Chinese chives
榨菜鱼片 rockling slices stirfried with pickles and tomatoes

四道 fourth course
煎蛋饼 Chinese egg pancake
海鲜疙瘩汤 seafood and flour soup
