Szechuan food

Local food is one of the great delights of travelling. For lunch, my generous hosts took me to a wonderful, wonderful Szechuan restaurant. The food was outstanding… but one needed a tolerance for chilli... which I have ;-)

凤爪-Chicken feet
肺片-Beef lung slice
南山鸡-South mountain chicken
水煮草鱼-Hot fish
干煸牛肉丝-Sauteed string beef
担担面-Sichuan flavor noodle
上汤丝瓜尖-Braised sponge gourd in superior soup
醪糟汤圆-Tangyuan in fermented glutinous rice soup

Simply the nicest Szechuan I've ever tried!!

Szechuan food is really good if you can tolerate the type of spicy with very strong herbs together
