Alcazar

The Alcazar is the Royal Palace in Seville. Still used today by the King and Queen, the Alcazar is a combination of Moorish and Spanish architecture.

This is the Patio of the Damsels. The lower level is Moorish, while the upper level (added later by Carlos V) is Renaissance in style.

I should let you know that in ancient times, the local community presented the Moorish King with 100 Christian virgins on an annual basis. I guess it's good to be the King.
