A short flight this morning from Munich to Barcelona. I was flying LH business class and was the only person in the business class cabin (12 seats) while the economy cabin was full. Nothing much to note other than the meal. For a morning flight I would have at least expected a hot meal in business class. Instead, LH offered up a meal comrising yoghurt & cereal, a little ham & cheese, some fruits and (strangely) some capsicum, cucumber and carrot. Breads, juice and tea/coffee also on offer.

If you're flying this route, a seat on the left hand side of the aircraft offers good views of the mountains (not really that big). On the right hand side, you get a lovely view of the Spanish coast towards the end of the flight.
And now a brief word about Munich. If you're flying on *A in business class or if you have Gold status on *A, skip the First Class lounge and head to the LH Senator Cafe, just in front of gate 26/27. Fewer people, nicer food.
